Two Men Arrested for Public Intoxication on St. Eustatius

On Friday, August 14, at approximately 5:35 p.m., the central control room received a report of two men arguing on John Tearr Road in Sint Eustatius. Officers responded to the scene and found both individuals to be visibly intoxicated in a public space. The two men were subsequently arrested on charges of public intoxication. While the incident appears relatively minor, it reflects ongoing law enforcement attention to public order disturbances on the small Dutch Caribbean island. No injuries or additional charges were reported in connection with the altercation. Both individuals were taken into custody following the incident.
