16 Recruits Graduate from Coast Guard Youth Crew Program

Sixteen recruits have successfully completed the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard's intensive Youth Crew Program (JBK) after more than a year of rigorous training, professional development, and personal growth. The graduates represent all three countries of the Dutch Caribbean — Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten — reflecting the program's regional scope. The JBK is a structured pathway designed to bring young recruits into the Coast Guard through intensive preparation before full service. The graduation marks a significant milestone for the recruits and strengthens the Coast Guard's operational capacity across the region. The ceremony was held in Willemstad, Curaçao, the administrative hub for the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard. This cohort's completion adds to the ongoing effort to maintain a well-trained maritime security force across the islands.
