SEDC Launches Grant Writing Training Program in Sint Maarten

The Sint Maarten Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) has announced the launch of a Creative Grant Writing Training Program, set to begin on October 12, 2026, in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten. The program is designed to build participants' skills in identifying funding opportunities and crafting competitive grant proposals. Trainees will also learn how to prepare appropriate budgets and develop strategies to secure financial support for their projects or organizations. The initiative aims to strengthen both funding literacy and broader business development capabilities across the island. By equipping individuals and organizations with these tools, SEDC hopes to increase Sint Maarten's ability to tap into external grants and financial resources. The program reflects a growing push on the island to formalize economic development skills and reduce reliance on limited local funding streams.
