Aruba Opens Airspace for Commercial Flights to Venezuela

Aruba's Minister of Tourism, Labor, and Traffic, Wendrick Cicilia, has announced that the aerial border between Aruba and Venezuela is officially open as of August 1. The reopening permits commercial, charter, and other civil aviation flights to operate between the two destinations. Aviation companies interested in flying the Aruba–Venezuela route are now able to register and apply for authorization. The move marks a significant shift in regional connectivity, as air links between Aruba and Venezuela had been suspended or severely limited for an extended period. The resumption of flights is expected to have notable implications for tourism, trade, and the movement of people between the two territories.
