Aruba Police and KIA K9 Units Invited to Intensive Training in Miami

The Canine (K9) Unit of the Aruba Police Corps and the BOT unit of KIA (Korps Infanterie Aruba) have received an official invitation from Police Service Dog Training to participate in an intensive training course in Miami, Florida. The program represents a professional development opportunity for Aruba's law enforcement and military canine handlers. Such training typically covers advanced techniques in detection, tracking, and operational deployment of service dogs. Participation in a U.S.-based program of this nature signals a strengthening of ties between Aruban security forces and American law enforcement training institutions. The training is expected to enhance the operational capabilities of both units upon their return to the island.
