SEDC Opens Registration for Poultry Farming Training Program

The Sint Maarten Entrepreneurship Development Center (SEDC) has announced registration is now open for a Certified Poultry Production and Processing Training Program in Philipsburg. The program targets both aspiring and existing poultry farmers on the island. Described as intensive, the training is designed to strengthen Sint Maarten's local poultry production capacity and generate new business opportunities in the agricultural sector. The initiative reflects broader efforts to build food security and reduce the island's dependence on imported poultry products. By equipping local farmers with certified skills, SEDC aims to grow a more sustainable and self-sufficient agricultural industry on Sint Maarten.
