Western Curaçao Calls for Recycling and Cleanup Initiatives

Residents of Bándabou, the western region of Curaçao, are calling for recycling and cleanup initiatives to be established in their area. Community members have expressed strong interest in receiving at minimum a recycling center to serve their part of the island. The appeal highlights a growing awareness among western Curaçao residents about environmental responsibility and waste management. Currently, the lack of local recycling infrastructure appears to be a pressing concern for the community. The call signals that demand for sustainable waste solutions is not limited to Willemstad and urban centers, but extends to more rural and outlying parts of the island.
