As of July 30, 2026, a total of 102,054 vehicle owners in Curaçao have paid their car tax, according to the island's Tax Receiver (Landsontvanger). Of those who paid, 99,340 have already collected their new license plates. However, 2,714 residents who have paid their car tax have yet to pick up their license plates.
